Maggies shadow has more personality than complete Sims. Both games can exist and can push each other to be better. No one is saying Paralives is stealing from the Sims by making this game at all. The make objects any size was made available with Sims 4.

Free placement has always been available with move objects. Graphics are fantastic and there are so many amazing details. Not really trying to defend EA, but the color palette with patterns was in Sims 3. Now it looks stunning - check out the 'Maggies Loft' video posted above. This doesn't mean absolutely everything, though: "However, some things will autonomously happen, no matter what, like for instance, your character dying of hunger if you locked them in an empty room between four walls". The alpha graphics were awful (duh, alpha).
